“There comes a time when you have to actually go and do the things you say you want to.”
With the aim of lighting fires in our bellies, David Hieatt, who founded ethical clothing company howies in 1995, held the first DO Lectures in 2008. He now invites inspirational people to a secluded campsite in deepest West Wales every September to share what they DO through a series of lectures – with the hope they will inspire others to DO something too. Past speakers have included graphic designer and illustrator Geoff McFetridge and inventor of the wind-up radio Trevor Baylis.
