What is the Dream Factory

“Everyone has a dream, some goal or activity that gives their life deeper meaning and sparks passion.

When we pursue our dreams, we feel empowered. This power, in turn, connects us to others who share the same dreams. It gives us the strength to overcome great challenges. It inspires us to spread the joy of our dreams to other people. Ultimately, the power born of a dream is a creative force, capable of producing revolutionary ideas.”

Some people argue that we are merely products of our environment. But there are pioneers who care to differ. Where some people choose to follow trends, others choose to start them. They have the desire and faith in their ideas ensure their creativity comes to fruition.

The Dream Factory is a home for these forward thinkers, a place where like-minded cultural, creative and inspiring innovators can share their work, innovations and stories. These people are Cultural Engineers, they have the belief to follow their conviction and they take their thoughts and put them into practice.

The Cultural Engineers are a diverse set of people, companies and organisations. From Simon Berry, who aims to harness the powerful distribution network of Coca-Cola, using it to distribute life-saving treatments to some of the world’s poorest children, to Future Cinema, (from the creators of Secret Cinema) which produces live events by uniquely fusing film, music, performance and design into an immersive cinema-going experience.

The Dream Factory will document the Cultural Engineers work and help facilitate new and exciting projects, whether individual or collaborative. It is a hub for like-mind thinkers, those who believe in the power of dreams.
